Large-scale feature work painted on the Nambour RSL. A tribute to our service people, Navy, Army and Air Force, as well as our heritage: Indigenous and Torres Strait flag colours and the Southern Cross. A process six months in the making, it first included three concept works which were voted on by the community. The day of painting was delayed for several weeks until its completion, which was met with community support and love. The work had a profound effect on the artist when asked if they were interested to paint the wall, and moments where she most felt part of the community.
