Dingle Wall

Steven Bordonaro, Cassie Munson

Dingle Wall by Steven Bordonaro | Street Art NSW

Extending about 20 metres on a formerly blank wall overlooking Kings Beach, this artwork features a boisterous scene of the Caloundra townscape that nods to the history and culture of the area. The artwork is a collection of the many unique attributes of the region and cultural assets, while representing the many different age groups and aspects that people can relate to.

It's bright, beautiful, happy, it attracts people; they walk past and their faces light up. And it serves a purpose. It points towards the beach and to Bulcock Street and it represents the markets, the shopping and cafes. At the other end it depicts the beach, pavilion, Ma and Pa Bendell, and The Events Centre. I want to tell everyone about our beautiful town.

A commission by the Caloundra CBD Taskforce as part of revitalisation efforts and extending the cultural landscape of the people, which engaging people of Caloundra's past, present and future.
