Antiques Mural

This mural shows items of furniture found in homes in earlier times and is also representative of furniture sold in the shop. The early 'Kooka' gas stove was a part of many homes in the area. The people in the mural are the owners and their family who help run the business.

The original artwork covered only the eastern wall of the building but was so enthusiastically received that the owners commissioned the artist to extend the mural. The mural gives many people a very nostalgic feeling as they recall many of the items depicted.
