Whian Whian Falls

Whian Whian Falls by Luke Close | Street Art NSW

Transforming the carpark wall of the Lismore Regional Gallery space, 55-metre mural was completed over four weeks and depicts the Whian Whian Falls deep within the rainforest. The waterfall starts from the south-eastern point of the wall and continues upwards, with a goanna walking downstream. The artwork acknowledges and respects the Bundjalung people.

Whian Whian flows into Rocky Creek Dam, which is the water source for the region and a gathering place. It’s always been communal.
