A long undersea aquarium over 10 metres painted through from the end of May to mid-August, featuring deep blues and a plethora of marine life animals. The work is the artist's largest to date, taking around 150 hours to complete and 40 hours to design.
The marine creatures I chose to include in the mural reflect mainly those who reside on our east coast, and a few from our west coast. I really wanted to celebrate the inherent beauty of our native marine life by painting them in a majestic way - a simple, cool colour palette with as much detail and depth as possible. I hope I can encourage passers-by to recognise and remind them of the value of our sea life and hopefully prompt them to make choices in their daily life which aligns with their preservation.
