A nod to the previous artwork painted at Bondi Beach in 2019, featuring a surfing koala in a barrel wave, surrounded by a wide variety of Australian wildlife. A celebration of wildlife, surf culture, while injecting a bit of Aussie humour, painted over three sunny days. The various species featured in the mural include a red-tailed black cockatoo, big red kangaroo, short-beaked echidna, a koala getting barrelled, red-bellied black snake, sulphur-crested cockatoo, emu, pink cockatoo, prawn, and a lace monitor. There are also some small Aussie culture references, including a Bunnings snag, a meat pie, red and yellow flags, a hint of vegemite, and some native trees and flowers.
