The Bradbury underpass has been generously painted with a special story about the Minerva Pools (Billabong) Dharawal birthing site, taking references and experiences of the Dharawal women's group and others who shared their stories and storytelling of these important places. As a second part, lighting was also installed along the ceiling of the underpass.
Painted in honour of Aunty Kay Bussell, healing people and Country through ceremony, with special thanks to several people and contributors who helped made this artwork a reality.
The public artwork was launched on 14 December 2024 with a traditional water cleansing ceremony and community celebration.
